Job description

Highlights : Schedule

8 ORs + 1 Endo room + 4-5 OSC (mostly eyes and urology cases).

  • 5 rooms in OSC, endo, OB, and cysto.
  • 4-6 doctors each day depending on the schedule. They average 5 and are scheduled for 5 every day.
  • Care Team Model : mostly supervising cases and occasionally performing their own cases3-4 doctors each day + 1-2 at OSC.
  • Cases include : bread-and-butter surgeriesGeneral Surgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics (Total Joints), Neuro Spine, Urology, Vascular, and Thoracic (surgeon starting).

Healthy Peds : minimal.

  • No cardiac / hearts.

    • Call

  • No OB callCRNAs take call.
  • 3-4 days per month = 24-hour call.
  • 6-7 days per month = back-up call (beeper / home).
