Pure Plumbing Company (located in San Marcos, CA) is looking for an experienced lead plumber who is self-motivated with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated Service Plumbing team.

You'll be tasked with professionally interacting and explaining our services to the customer, as well as both overseeing work done by a crew and independent work depending on the scope of the job.

Our starting pay is $32 to $40 per hour (base pay) plus great opportunities for Commission, Bonus and other incentives.

Lead Plumber Responsibilities :

• ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue)
• Cast Iron Waste Lines (using bands and snap cutters)
• Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux and solder)
• CPVC water lines (measure, ream, glue)
• Black iron / flex gas line (layout, measure, run gas machine, install)
• PEX water lines (cut pipe, use fitting expander)
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures which will include soldering copper and assembling pipes, tubes, and fittings as per code requirements.
• Maintaining and repairing sanitation units, water and gas supply lines, and heating systems.
• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance in residential structures.
• Handling customer interactions, troubleshooting / resolving problems, and preparing estimates.
• Utilize dispatch software to manage and complete projects.
• Responsible for keeping service trucks maintained and clean.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards.
• Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement.

Skills / Qualifications :

• 5+ years of plumbing install experience preferred.
• The ability to oversee 2-4 workers and train.
• Thorough knowledge of residential plumbing installation.
• Run all phases of the job at one time (underground, top out and finish).
• Strong understanding of current CPC.
• Ability to run one or more jobs.
• Experience in ordering material, scheduling manpower, project management.
• Water supply, drain and gas systems.
• Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 80 lbs).
• Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable.
• Your tools of the trade. All hand tools and battery-operated power tools.
• Required to pass a background check and drug test.

Licenses and Certifications :

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Trade certifications are a plus!

Pay Transparency :

The annual compensation opportunity for this role ranges from $66K-$120K. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.

Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, and life insurance.
