Description
This is a newly created position that will provide assistance to our Accounting and Human Resources Departments. Duties will include assisting in the following areas :
- Accounts Payable
- Payroll
- Food, Beverage & Gaming Audits
- Inventory Control
- Financial Reports (Sage)
- Perform General Ledger Journal Entries
- Assist Applicants with online application process, answer questions and communicate openings and job requirements
- Initial screen / interview applicants - phone / in person
- Assist Employees with computer HR / Payroll system questions / issues (UKG Workforce)
- Enter / update data in HR / Payroll system
- Assist Employees with questions / issues (Insurance / benefits, rules / policy, etc)
- Participate in onboarding of new employees
- Participate in employee training sessions and events / activities
- Maintain / update HR reports
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient with WORD and EXCEL
- Familiarity with Sage accounting system helpful
- Familiarity with UKG Ready accounting / human resources software helpful
- Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills
- Knowledge / experience in account and human resources
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, exercise good judgement and discretion.
- Degree in related field preferred or HS diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience
