About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU / PICU
Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Specialty : RRT-NICU
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night
Hours per Shift : 12 (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. First-time travelers with a strong skill set and experience will be considered.
License : Must have an active state license.
Certifications : RRT, PALS, NRP, ACLS, BLS required.
Must-Have :
- Experience with aerosol setup and respiratory care procedures.
- Comfortable in a NICU / PICU setting.
- Knowledge of pediatric and neonatal respiratory conditions.
Description :
The position involves providing respiratory therapy in a critical care environment with a focus on pediatrics and neonates.
Experience in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports is essential.
You will be responsible for the management of ventilated patients and performing procedures such as intubation and extubation.
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required for responding to alarms and implementing care protocols.
Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will address a range of respiratory diagnoses and utilize advanced equipment.
Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday is required.
On-call duties are not mandatory.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are needed to work effectively within the healthcare team.
