Senior Resource Manager
As the Senior Resource Manager, you will oversee all US resourcing needs for Teneo's US Strategy & Communications team. You will be responsible for allocating talent, building high-performing integrated client teams, optimizing utilization and supporting employee growth all while driving business performance through strategic, data-driven resourcing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the professional services or advisory landscape, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for building effective teams and connecting people with opportunities that advance both career growth and client success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the centralized resourcing process for Teneo's US S&C business, ensuring balanced, efficient, and strategic staffing decisions.
- Develop a deep understanding of each of Teneo's advisory disciplines including corporate communications, investor relations, transactions and strategic situations, government and public affairs, social and digital communications, and more to assemble cross functional, integrated, high-performing teams.
- Partner closely with US S&C COO, practice area leaders and Finance and People teams to assess pipeline, skillsets, capacity, and priorities.
- Advise senior leaders and account teams on staffing solutions, resolving resourcing conflicts and managing competing priorities.
- Maintain an up-to-date view of employee availability, utilization, and talent profiles across the business.
- Support the onboarding of new hires and manage transitions between projects or practices.
- Liaise with global teams to support multi-office projects, leverage talent across regions when needed.
- Analyze resourcing data to identify trends, forecast needs, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
- Use staffing data to inform career pathing, performance reviews, and promotion cycles.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs across the business and collaborate with management and the People Team to address them.
- Serve as a key contact for team members regarding assignments, workload, and professional development goals.
Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or talent operations, ideally within a consultancy, agency, or professional services firm.Experience in the advisory and / or communications industry is highly preferred.Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performance staffing and capacity planning functions.Proven ability to balance competing priorities and make effective decisions under pressure.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.Strong business judgment, analytical acumen, and structured problem-solving capabilities.Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform decisions and drive operational efficiency.Commitment to delivering high-quality service in a professional services setting where responsiveness is essential, including outside standard business hours as client needs require.Proficiency in resourcing or workforce planning tools and systems.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Our Commitment to Inclusion : Teneo is an equal opportunity employer and promotes an inclusive workplace. Base Salary Range $140,000 - $200,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).
Total Compensation Package Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.
Flexible Work Policy : Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company's expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of 3 days a week.
