The mission of our Ranking team is to ensure every patient can find the right provider tailored to their needs. We are developing the sophisticated matching system that facilitates this connection, encompassing search, discovery, ranking, and personalization. Our ambition is to integrate state-of-the-art machine learning with an in-depth understanding of both patient and provider experiences.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to enhance the way we connect patients with suitable therapists. In this role, you will assess both the product experience and the foundational ML systems that assist patients in finding their ideal clinician. Your research will drive our comprehension of matching performance and inform our prioritization of experiments aimed at improvement. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate your findings into tangible improvements to the patient experience. What You'll Do

• Evaluate the effectiveness of our search and ranking systems using both offline and online metrics.
• Create frameworks to assess relevance, conversion signals, and long-term patient outcomes.
• Conduct exploratory research to uncover new search and ranking signals, as well as opportunities for personalization.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to transform research insights into production-ready models and features.
• Work together with product, clinical, and engineering teams to define success metrics and guide experimentation.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and business implications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits :

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $215,900 - $254,000, depending on various factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to a base salary, this role may qualify for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant, contingent on the position and level.
