Director, Network Scaling

Responsibilities Responsible for protocol inter-networking and architecture of our cloud computing platform. Configure and troubleshoot network traffic engineering using BGP / OSPF and large-scale network operations and maintenance procedures. Analyze networks and troubleshoot network bugs to successfully mitigate large scale issues. Configure routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers, as well as upgrade software on routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers on a large-scale network. Conceptualize large scalable network solutions, write applicable acceptance and design documentation while implementing on a reduced time scale. Mentor and lead an organization of Network Engineers. Qualifications 10 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available network environments (hyperscale cloud, ISP, or service provider). 7 years in people leadership, with experience managing managers and geographically distributed teams. Bachelor’s degree Proven track record of scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth. Deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, etc.). Strong background in data center networking, fabrics, backbone, and multi-cloud solutions.
