This position is for a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, full-time, days. Under the direction of a Cardiologist, Radiologist, Surgeon, or Director-CVS, this role performs Interventional Radiology and Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology and Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures at an appropriate technical level under supervision as required.
- Provide procedural scrub assistance, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy imaging, and radiation safety support.
- Assist with assigned duties within the Cath Lab as directed by physicians and department leadership.
Qualifications
Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.Current California Radiologic Technologist License.Formal Radiologic Technology training program completion in an AMA approved school and ARRT registry eligibility / achievement.Four (4) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care hospital.Two (2) years of recent experience as an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Tech III or Interventional Radiology Tech III; Cardiac Cath Lab interventional experience preferred.Valid Fluoroscopy License; Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS completion prior to 90th day of employment); 12-lead EKG class completion prior to 90th day of employment.Physical requirements : ability to wear PPE including lead apron and protective glasses.Benefits
