• End Date : February 9, 2026\n
• Duration : 13-week nursing contract\n
• Shift : Nights, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Holiday and Weekend Coverage : Required\n
• No On-Call Required\n
• Charting System : Meditech\n
• Orientation : 16 hours\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800–$1930\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience\n
• CPI certification required\n
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
• Ability to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed\n
• Experience with Meditech charting preferred\n
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as scheduled\n
• Travel nurses must live at least 50 miles from facility\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 10-bed Labor & Delivery unit\n
• Monitor and assess mothers and infants throughout all stages of labor and delivery\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed\n
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic health records\n
• Support patients and families with education and emotional care during the childbirth process\n
