Part-Time Payroll Specialist

Our client is an industry leader in Danbury, CT and they are looking for a part time payroll specialist to join their team as soon as possible! This position is onsite in Danbury and roughly 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist :

Process payroll for a high volume of employees on a bi-weekly basis.

The payroll specialist will be responsible for calculating compensation

Communicate with staff on pay inquires to resolve issues and process adjustments as needed.

Assist in all payroll and other financial audits.

Provide clerical support to Finance Department during non-payroll week.

Special projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist

5+ years of Payroll / Accounting experience

Experience processing payroll for at least 100 employees

Basic Microsoft excel skills

Strong communication skills!

Target Compensation : $30 / hr - $38 / hr
