The Asian Art Museum seeks a Chief Philanthropy Officer to lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy that advances both immediate and long-term goals. This role involves shaping a culture of philanthropy rooted in collaboration, engagement, and impact. The officer will cultivate relationships with Trustees, the San Francisco Asian Art Commission, and donors at all levels, serving as a visible ambassador to drive transformational support for the museum's programs, people, and future. They will inspire generosity and foster partnerships while leading a high-performing team to broaden the museum’s philanthropic reach and sustain its mission.

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is dedicated to connecting global audiences with Asian and Asian American art and culture. Its collection of 20,000 objects spans over 6,000 years, from ancient sculptures to contemporary installations, offering insights into Asian cultures. The museum is a vibrant forum for public engagement, celebrating, preserving, and promoting Asian and Asian American art for local and global audiences. It aims to inspire understanding and empathy among diverse communities through dialogue, collaboration, and artistic expression.
