Responsibilities :
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth to create a positive and comfortable environment.
- Schedule, adjust, and confirm patient appointments while prioritizing urgent needs.
- Clearly communicate treatment plans and procedures to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to organize and coordinate treatment plans and follow-up visits.
- Provide patients with detailed financial information, including insurance coverage, payment plans, and out-of-pocket costs.
- Handle insurance claims submission and follow-ups to ensure timely processing.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records for patient accounts.
- Keep patient records updated and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Manage doctor and hygiene schedules to maximize office efficiency.
- Act as a patient advocate by addressing concerns and fostering strong relationships built on empathy and trust.
- Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills and a welcoming demeanor.
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems.
- Solid organizational and administrative abilities.
- Familiarity with medical or dental terminology and processes.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
