Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

Description Specialization : Pulmonology Interventional Job Summary : We are seeking a full time Pulmonary Medicine Physician board-certified or board-eligible in critical care to join a busy, hospital-based practice in Salem, Virginia. Qualified candidates : Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US Must be board certified / board eligible in pulmonary disease Must be board certified / board eligible in critical care Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license Primarily outpatient position with some inpatient consults Utilize dedicated intensivists for ICU coverage Interest / training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS Critical care shifts available if desired Teaching available for internal medicine residents if desired Every 3rd night call every 3rd weekend call for pulmonary only Incentive / benefits package : Competitive salary with incentive-based package Excellent base salary plus bonuses Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance CME allowances Comprehensive benefits package with various options for health, life, and financial needs with additional access to wellbeing resources 401(k) plan with annual match (based on years of service) Paid time off Employee stock purchase plan About our hospital : LewisGale Medical Center is a fully accredited, 506-bed facility 36-bed ICU with Intensivist coverage Level II Trauma Center Accredited Stroke Center Accredited Chest Pain Center Graduate medical education programs training residents in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry, and Gastroenterology fellowship.
