Summary

The Product Launch Coordinator is responsible for the collection, maintenance, and distribution of critical product data, specifications, and materials throughout a product’s life cycle.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Accurately Systematize product data and product specifications during PD lifecycle

Collect and validate item master data.

Facilitate tracking and coordination of handoff between PD and Engineering / Production

Support creation of product specification sheets

Support item master set up during launch.

Maintenance and tracking of PD sample SKUs.

Distribution of certain critical product documentation, assets, and samples across internal and external teams

Strong analytical background-Strong with numbers

Qualifications

Background and familiarity with product development

Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables with limited standardization.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry.

Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Highly organized

A keen eye for detail and focus on producing quality results.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Product Launch Coordinator role operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and / or exert force, up to 10 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate. The visual acuity requirements include close vision, depth perception, and color.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; core workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime required.

Domestic travel requirements exist or are anticipated for this position; 10% or less. Ability to travel domestic in April and October to provide market support is a requirement of this role.

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
