Physician Biller

MBOS, the leader in medical billing is seeking a full time on site (Jackson Park Hospital Clinic) Physician Biller who is looking to make an impact. Experience with any leading EMR including eCW & Practice Fusion is a plus. Coding and strong Excel experience is also a plus. 1+ years of experience is required.

This key individual is accountable for ensuring best practices billing for their clients, collections and follow up, and denials management for the assigned practices and specialty service lines. Specific functional areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to : posting charges, working Insurance AR follow up, ensuring compliance, direct communication with client staff, and answering in-coming calls.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Firm understanding of multi-specialty physician billing practices and procedures
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement rules and methodologies for physician billing
• Excellent communication and organizations skills
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of CPT / ICD-10
• Excel experience including Pivot Tables
