FedScoop seeks an experienced reporter to cover the intersection of the federal government and the technology industry from Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage of government technology and generate fresh story ideas.
• Write short hits and in‑depth investigative features for a daily newsletter to 100,000+ subscribers.
• Contribute to long‑term special editorial projects that impact the tech community governmentwide.
• Aid in the production of multimedia content such as podcasts and social media explainers.
• Represent the FedScoop brand at events and panel moderations.

Experience & Qualifications

Salary Range

$60K - $90K (competitive and based on qualifications).
