THE POSITION

Are you a CDL holder looking for a rewarding opportunity? Drive your career forward with the Department of Transportation as a Winter CDL Equipment Operator ! In this role, you will operate highway construction and maintenance equipment to perform snow removal duties and related tasks.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Winter CDL Equipment Operator, you will perform a variety of duties during the winter season, such as snow removal, traffic control, equipment repair and maintenance, guide rail repair, and loading trucks with winter materials; stocking the salt and / or skid deliveries.

Work Hours and Additional Information :

• Salary : Winter CDL Equipment Operators earn $23.00
• This is a seasonal position lasting from September through April, but there are frequent

frequent opportunities to obtain a permanent full-time position.

Military members and recently-honorably discharged veterans who possess at least two years' experience in operating a commercial motor vehicle as part of their military job requirements may qualify for these opportunities based on meeting the Military Commercial Driver's License Skills Testing Waiver ( DL-398 Form ) as found on www.dmv.pa.gov.
