Essential Duties
- Coordinate a variety of projects within the CXFEL team.
- Help with purchasing, record keeping, audit preparation, account reconciliations and other financial tasks, like monitoring and tracking expenditures.
- Perform data entry, report preparation, budgeting, and other related functions.
- Maintain financial files consistent with university policies and practices.
- Participate in a variety of departmental, unit, and university-wide initiatives and meetings to represent financial interest and ensure integration / collaborative support of unit and university wide interests.
- Assist with events, scheduling, and special visitors.
- Perform tasks related to specific activity assigned, such as tracking event attendance, development of brochures or other unique projects.
- Assist with department travel.
- Help plan and facilitate workshops, meetings, or conferences with high impact on program and participants.
- Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
- Schedule facility and services for use by campus and outside organizations, as needed.
- Approve department time, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure continual efficient operations of department to meet customer service needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and / or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

- Demonstrated knowledge of issues pertaining to area of assignment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management.
- Experience in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Experience in coordinating and prioritizing work.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Evidence of effective communication skills.
- Experience in working effectively in an environment subject to quickly changing priorities, sensitive information, and short deadlines.
- Evidence of effective communication to perform essential functions.
- Experience in Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Outlook calendar scheduling experience.
- Experience with ASU software such as Workday, Amazon Workspace / Forecasting Tool, Concur, preferred.

- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position.
