Job Title : Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician with over five years of experience in industrial maintenance or electro-mechanics. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls, and be familiar with working in a food manufacturing environment. The ability to work independently, troubleshoot under pressure, and a willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair processing and packaging equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain proper documentation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair control panels, motors, and power distribution systems.
• Work with conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and automated packaging equipment.
• Perform mechanical alignments, bearing replacements, and belt tensioning.
• Calibrate temperature sensors, flow meters, and pressure gauges.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Follow SOPs and maintain clean, safe workspaces.
• Understand and apply GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in hot or cold environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls. A team-oriented mindset and flexibility to support cross-functional tasks are also important.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00 / hr.
