About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of eCommerce to take on a pivotal role in leading a major transformation and owning the entire eCommerce business. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, building and executing a holistic eCommerce strategy across various channels, and identifying opportunities for digital growth. This role demands a leader with a GM mindset, capable of owning the P&L, setting and achieving financial targets, and ensuring disciplined spending with a focus on high ROI. The VP will also be tasked with accelerating performance in major marketplaces, particularly Amazon, and leading efforts in assortment, merchandising, and content to enhance the customer experience.
Applicants for the VP of eCommerce position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in eCommerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, and a proven track record of driving growth and profitability in major marketplaces. A GM mindset, strong analytical skills, and deep expertise in eCommerce best practices are essential. The role requires a leader with a strong influence, capable of building and mentoring high-performing teams, and driving cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial builder, ready to make a significant impact on a rapidly evolving organization.
