POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately processing payroll, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing support to both employees and management regarding payroll-related inquiries
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist employees with completing new employee packets.
- Maintain and update employee hours to be uploaded to the home office for processing.
- Audit timecards and attendance data to ensure accuracy before payroll processing.
- Review and verify payroll reports for completeness and compliance.
- Process wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other mandatory deductions to home office.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed for management and accounting teams.
- Assist with month-end and year-end payroll tasks, including W-2s and other tax forms.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent internal customer service.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.
REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma.Degree or related coursework in accounting preferred.1–3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or similar).Experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).What we offer :
