About the Role The Philanthropy Coordinator supports fundraising, donor relations, and community giving efforts that strengthen PACE Southeast Michigan's ability to serve older adults. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this position manages our donor database, coordinates community giving requests, and provides essential administrative and event support to the Philanthropy team.

Job Responsibilities - What You'll Do

  • Manage gift entry and donor acknowledgments to ensure accuracy and timely recognition.
  • Maintain and update the CRM database, ensuring clean, complete, and reliable data.
  • Support fundraising campaigns through reporting, list generation, and data analysis.
  • Coordinate philanthropy meetings, mailings, and stewardship communications.
  • Provide logistics and administrative support for fundraising and appreciation events.
  • Manage Community Giving program requests, approvals, and reporting.
  • Respond to donor inquiries and assist with in-kind donations.
  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile monthly gift and community giving fund reports.
  • Maintain volunteer files and respond to internal volunteer inquiries.

Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in philanthropy, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fundraising, administration, or community engagement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor database systems (Bloomerang preferred).
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
  • Position Details

  • Schedule : Hybrid (23 days / week in Southfield office)
  • Travel : Some local travel across Southeast Michigan
  • Reports to : Director of Philanthropy
