Bon Secours Virginia Orthopedic and Spine Specialists is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in Shoulder and Elbow to join their expanding team in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. This position offers a structured 5-day work week with a focus on outpatient adult and geriatric care, boasting a high patient volume and opportunities for mentorship and teaching. The ideal candidate will have completed a Fellowship in Shoulder / Elbow and preferably Sports Medicine, with a commitment to holistic community care and collaboration in a team-oriented environment.

Bon Secours Virginia Orthopedic and Spine Specialists is hiring an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow - to replace a busy surgeon leaving the area. Our sites are located in the fast-growing western corridor of the Hampton Roads region of southeast Virginia. Prefer a dual-Shoulder / Elbow / Sports Medicine Fellowship - this would be a tremendous bonus!

This is a fantastic opportunity to absorb a fully developed and robust panel of referrals plus GROW a sports panel. Our area has limited shoulder / elbow specialists - so the patient volume is there!

• 5 day work week - Monday-Friday 8 : 00-4 : 30 PM
• Minimum 36 clinical / patient-facing hours plus 4 hours admin per week
• Call coverage is 1 in 7 rotation and includes practice patients, discharge / unassigned patients from Maryview Medical Center, new Harbour View medical Center, and coverage of Southampton Memorial Medical Center in Franklin for their ortho surgeon PTO.
• Average 25-30 patients per day, all Outpatient
• 100% adult and geriatric
• All locations have Xray access on site, in-house Physical Therapy and many locations across the region
• EPIC EMR - telehealth for virtual appointments as appropriate
• Required training and experience :

Surgical Fellowship - Shoulder / Elbow and Sports Medicine

Candidates must have completed a U.S.-based Residency Program, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS in Orthopedic Surgery
