This major academic medical center operates as a Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds. The facility serves as a teaching hospital providing comprehensive acute care services with specialty support available 24 / 7. The emergency department maintains a high-volume patient census of 170-200 daily with approximately 175 visits per day across 53 rooms and 68 beds. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation services.
