Our dental practice is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join the team!
This will be for a 6 week trial period / temporary position / part time position.
Please note our office is taking every appropriate measure to keep our team members and patients safe with proper use of PPE including :

Compensation
$20-$28 / hr total of 8 hrs a week with the possibility of 32 - 40 hrs. a week. We alternate Monday-Thursday and Tuesday- Friday. We are open 4 -5 days a week. Every other week there is a 3-4 day weekend.Courses and training will be provided by the office.Health insurance covered at 50%. Dental and Vision is optional. Open enrollment starts in November.Learn the skills of the Future Now and continue to learn new / exciting aspects of dentistry. : )Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) duties include but not limited to :
Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.Taking digital dental radiographs (x-rays).Asking about the patient's medical history and taking vitals / measurements.Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).Teaching our patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).Taking digital impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (digital models of teeth).Printing or milling dental models, teeth, prosthetics, or oral appliances.Digital design of dental materials.Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies).Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.Maintenance of Equipment for dental procedures.Unvaccinated employees will need to comply with weekly testing per CDPH.requirements.Bedside visits for treatment of patients at nursing homes and hospital may be required when needed.We are looking to fill this position right away.
