Assembler- Mechanical And Electrical

Description :

Responsibilities include assembling large and small fuel components used for tank trucks, tankers, and rail tanks cars using hand / power tools, fabrication machines, and testing equipment to perform work.

They will use samples, drawings, schematics, as well as written and verbal instruction to perform tasks. Use of good hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity to work with parts is essential.

Assemblers will be cross trained in the weld-assist area as well. In weld-assist candidates will grind / polish steel aluminum parts after they've been welded.

This is a more labor intensive and repetitive work area.

Must Have

• Meet and maintain daily production rates & goals as established and required by the company.
• Ability to work all scheduled and adjusted times, and or work overtime to accommodate production.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension and expression both verbal and written.
• Ability to adjust to changing work environments; variable noise levels and varying temperatures.
• Ability to tolerate prolonged standing and walking distances; physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stooping motions;

ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually and repetitively.

• Excellent manual dexterity with full-finger and hand movement to perform repetitive motions and task.
• Willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, non-conductive jacket.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hand / power tools
• Familiarity with grinding, rolling, and flanging process and operations.
• High level of customer focus and ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Self-directed, positive and ethical role model able to work with minimal supervision.
