Urology Physician

Position Overview :

We have an immediate need for Two (2) locum Urologists at the VA Medical Center located in Martinsburg, WV to provide Urology Physician services for our veteran population. This role offers a flexible assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while experiencing the beauty and uniqueness of Appalachian foothills.

Position Snapshot :

Clinic and Surgical Care : Contractor s physician(s) shall provide clinical urology services including

• Evaluating and treating patients in an Urological outpatient clinic daily,
• Seeing patients on consult,
• Coordinating referral of consults when necessary,
• Cystoscopies, surgeries and other related urology procedures and basic urological care.
• Make in patient rounds for Urological patients.
• Perform cystoscopies in clinic
• Perform vasectomies, scrotal surgeries, ureteroscopies, transurethral surgeries for prostate disease and bladder cancer. ( Robotics, laparoscopies and major complex urologic surgery not required. )

Specialty Exams : Provide direct patient care including specialty exams such as compensation and pension, agent orange, etc., as it pertains to urological conditions only.

Physician(s) is expected to be able to perform :

Must have completed a residency and be a Board Certified or Eligible Board by ABU.
