Job descriptionPerform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols. Position patients accurately and safely for imaging procedures. Monitor patients during scans and provide necessary support. Maintain and operate CT equipment in accordance with safety standards. Review images for quality and clarity before submission to radiologists. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Stay current with advances in CT imaging technology and techniques. Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Proven experience in CT imaging. Knowledge of imaging equipment and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
