This role is ideal for candidates seeking HR jobs , Accounts Payable positions , Administrative Specialist roles , and HR / Accounting hybrid careers .

We are hiring an HR & Accounts Payable Specialist who is excited to support both the employee experience and daily financial operations in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Hours & Pay

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m.

Pay Range : $24.00 - $31.00 per hour

Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire (90-day transition period)

Experience Level : Non-entry level; 2 years of HR and Accounts Payable required

What You'll Do Each Day

Human Resources - Approximately 50%

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding for shop and office staff.
  • Maintain employee files, compliance documentation, and training records.
  • Support benefits administration and assist employees with HR-related questions.
  • Manage timekeeping and attendance and assist with payroll preparation.
  • Support safety initiatives, incident reporting, and HR policy administration.

Accounts Payable - Approximately 50%

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders, packing slips, and job-cost documents.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare weekly check runs and coordinate approval workflows.
  • Maintain organized AP files and assist with month-end closing tasks.
  • What It Takes to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and human resources.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, including payroll support and HR administration.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid communication skills and comfort working with various departments.
