Job Description

Job Title : X-Ray Technologist

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience is not applicable
• Experience with charting systems is required
• Community hospital experience is preferred
• Trauma Level II experience is preferred
• Travel experience is highly preferred

Description :

The X-Ray Technologist will work three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The shift time will be from 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM.

The position will include rotational call and holidays as assigned.

The technologist will be responsible for performing various X-ray procedures for patients of all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily patient census is approximately 125 with a variety of patient diagnoses.

Special equipment includes digital portable X-ray systems and fluoroscopy suites.

The technologist will be required to follow isolation precautions and perform bedside / portable procedures.

Certification in BLS and ARRT is required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in adult outpatient imaging, trauma lower extremity imaging, and experience with PACS systems.
