What You’ll Do
Assist in patient intake—rooming, vital signs, and obtaining medical historyTriage and assess patients, prioritizing urgent cases and coordinating care with physicians & APPsProvide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, pre / post-op care, and wellnessApply casts, splints, braces, and DME to support recoveryTrain patients on proper device use and gait techniquesAssist with in-office procedures and ensure efficient patient flowDocument patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and clinic staffMaintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safetyWhat You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Athletic Training (BOC certification required) OR NBCOT certification (required within 2 years)Current Maine licensure (or eligible)BLS certification (required)Experience in orthopaedic injury evaluation and patient careStrong organizational, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to multi-task in a high-energy environmentWhat’s in It for You?
