Position
Talent and Performance Partner (Dual Site) | £38,000 per annum
We are looking for a Talent and Performance Partner to support Whinfell Forest (Cumbria) & Sherwood Forest (Nottinghamshire). The role will be based at one of the two villages, with regular travel required to the other village and occasional visits to Forest House (Head Office).
Role purpose
As a Talent and Performance Partner, you will play a pivotal role in proactively supporting key development opportunities available for our colleagues to drive engagement through career and personal development. The role will require working closely with both the Village and Forest House teams to enable the continued success of the company. It will range from designing, delivering, and managing a suite of key development initiatives that support our people\'s growth and the company\'s evolving culture.
Responsibilities
- Compliance : Support the optimum delivery and impact whilst looking at ways we can evolve the proposition
- Project Management : Lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, managing stakeholders, timelines, and resources to deliver impactful learning experiences on schedule
- Content Design & Facilitation : Develop engaging learning content and facilitate workshops and sessions, both independently and in collaboration with external providers, to support employee growth and development
- DEI : Support our journey into everything we do - from content creation to delivery, ensuring learning is inclusive, accessible and impactful
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and the wider People team to align L&D initiatives with business needs and culture transformation goals
- Data & Insights : Use skills gap analysis and impact measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and identify opportunities to enhance learning strategies
- Team Leadership & Support : Provide guidance and direction to junior team members and apprentices, and support managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing function
- Culture & Innovation : Contribute to shaping our evolving culture by supporting initiatives around emerging talent, internal mobility, and new learning technologies, including AI adoption
Requirements / What we\'re looking for
Proven experience in Talent and or Learning & Development with a strong generalist background, able to manage and deliver a variety of L&D programs and projectsExcellent project management skillsStrong facilitation and content design skillsPassion for L&D and a growth mindset are most importantExperience supporting leadership development, early careers, and mentoring programs is highly desirable but not essentialStrong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders across all levels and functionsAbility to work with data to conduct skills gap analysis and measure the impact of learning initiativesA proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to work independentlyComfortable working collaboratively with junior team members, providing guidance and direction as neededHours of work
This is a full-time position with working patterns designed to support both our operational needs and your work-life balance. Our team typically collaborates during core hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
