NV5 is looking for an Engineer to manage construction materials testing, special inspections personnel, and geotechnical projects in our Nevada City, California, operations. The position involves managing and overseeing projects in the greater Sacramento area, Truckee / Tahoe, and the northern Sacramento Valley. The person must possess skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and be steadfast in the execution of assigned duties. The successful candidate should be a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California, or capable of obtaining their CA PE. The person needs to be an effective leader and collaborator with an ability to manage a fleet of soil / concrete technicians, ICC Inspectors, and coordinate with multiple NV5 laboratories.

What We’re Looking For :

🔹  Licensed Civil Engineer  in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months)🔹  Experience with CA Division of State Architect (DSA) HCAI, and / or Caltrans Projects  – preferred🔹 Strong  problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills 🔹 Ability to balance  technical excellence with business success

The pay range for this California position is $110,000-$130,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may be higher or lower, depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
