A strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting is required. Perform analysis of variances between budgeted and actual results as well as various performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly variance analysis to budget

• Perform quarterly forecast analysis
• Produce timely and accurate analysis
• Work in conjunction with manager to complete analysis of potential risks and opportunities
• Monitor and provide analysis of Business Unit performance
• Understand and analyze business trends
• Financial analysis that cuts across multiple business units and financial areas
• Perform Ad Hoc analysis as requested
• Work with manager and Business Intelligence team to develop financial metrics, performance reports and dashboards

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• BA / BS in Finance, Economics or other quantitative discipline; MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of financial analysis experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• CMIC and / or MicroStrategy experience a plus
• Knowledge of Construction accounting a plus

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

For Providence, RI this ranges from $94,300.00-$129,700.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
