DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Food Service Worker 1, you will perform routine work in the preparation of meals and sanitation of food preparation and serving areas at the Gino J. Merli Veterans' Center. Key duties of the position include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen items; preparing trays, measuring portions, serving food, and transporting trays, carts, and nourishment; using equipment such as mixers, dicers, slicers, knives, and grinders. Your attention to detail and adherence to food safety protocols will be vital in providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents.
