Supervisory Program Specialist
Summary
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in finance, contract management, audits, manpower and human resources functions for the Individual Assistance (IA) Division.
Duties
What will I do in this position if hired?
In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Program Specialist for the Recovery Directorate, Program Support Branch.
Typical assignments include :
- Developing, managing, and maintaining HR information.
- Providing advice and assistance to managers and supervisors on complex personnel management matters involving staffing and recruitment and placement actions.
- Tracking vacancies and referrals and ensuring recruitment actions are processed in a timely manner.
- Initiating, monitoring, forwarding, and tracking all requests for personnel actions for the program offices.
- Evaluating staffing plans to identify or track hiring actions.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
