JOB PURPOSE : The Laboratory Analyst II in the Tighe laboratory will assist in lab management including compliance with regulation, oversight of trainees and training. Additionally, the role includes performing research assessing responses to air pollution to define factors that predict susceptibility. This includes primary cell culture, exposure to air pollutants and assessment of exposure responses.

QUALIFICATIONS
An experienced leader and financial executive with health care experience preferably in the home health field. Bachelors degree or equivalent; more than four of work experience and / or training; and at least 2 years of some laboratory management or training experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret research documents. Ability to respond effectively to feedback or provide feedback to trainees. Ability to draft and / or write protocols, abstracts and manuscripts. Ability to present scientific data to laboratory group and / or collaborators
Ability to perform math skills to generate solutions, compounds and other needs to molecular biology studies.
Ability to review the scientific literature. This includes critical review of the literature, ability to perform literature searches, and synthesize the data. This needs to be independent in initial activities, while appropriate seeking additional advice.
