JOB PURPOSE
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's information technology operations and ensuring the integration of IT systems and services across all departments. This role involves developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's goals, managing IT staff, and maintaining robust and secure IT infrastructure. The IT Manager plays a critical role in driving technological innovation, optimizing system performance, and ensuring data security and compliance. By effectively managing IT resources, projects, and budgets, the IT Manager supports the organization's growth and efficiency, enabling it to achieve its strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and those available in the KRONES group to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and support of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate and support their technology needs.
- Enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize IT expenditures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Initiate negotiations of IT contracts and IT service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure preparedness for and response to IT emergencies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users, addressing and resolving IT-related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred8+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.Knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systemsExcellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.Experience in developing and managing IT budgets.Ability to optimize resource allocation and manage IT expenditures efficiently.Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritizeRelevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar are preferred.J-18808-Ljbffr
