Job description

Staffing Coordinator

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Staffing Coordinator for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Staffing Coordinator you will :

  • Coordinate daily staffing needs, under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
  • Collaborate development of schedules with Nurse Managers for the Department of Nursing.
  • Input and manage department time-sheet data entry.
  • Assist Nurse Leadership with data collection (time and attendance, staff usage reports, etc).
  • Assist with the coordination of new employee orientation scheduling and other special projects as assigned.
  • Update productivity daily reports and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned (Emergency Services would be 15% of time)

Qualifications include :

  • Must be detailed oriented, have the ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment.
  • Experience with KRONOS Payroll and Timekeeping System
  • Must have organizational and time management skills
  • Must maintain positive communication with Nurse Managers, staff and Nursing Administration and have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have MicroSoft Office Skills, i.e. Excel and Word
  • Must complete required Condition of Employment Training
  • Work Schedule :

    PT - 24 hours / week - primarily M-F, but occasionally requires weekend work to close payroll on time

    Pay Range : $21.55 - $28.87

    If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

    Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as : United States of America (Non-Exempt)
