Senior Maintenance Manager (Sioux Falls)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Maintenance Leader to oversee all maintenance operations in a high-volume, 24 / 7 manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a culture of safety across the facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, and manage capital projects to maximize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Excellence : Ensure all work is performed safely, PPE is used appropriately, and employees receive comprehensive safety training in compliance with OSHA and all regulatory standards. Leave no space unsafe!
• Lead & Develop the Team : Manage and mentor a diverse maintenance team across all shifts, fostering growth through coaching and technical training.
• Optimize Equipment Reliability : Implement root cause analysis (RCA), preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Drive Operational Performance : Oversee maintenance activities, capital projects, and process optimization to support production goals and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Partner with production, quality, safety, and CI teams to resolve equipment and facility issues quickly and effectively.
• Leverage Data for Decisions : Utilize operational metrics, quality data, and MES / SAP systems to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement cost-effective solutions.
