Art Handler/ Driver
Alchemy is working alongside a market-leading art organization in Aspen, Colorado seeking an individual to join their team as an Art Handler.
Responsibilities :
- Safely handle, move and coordinate the storage of all artwork
- Accurately check the condition, labeling and recordings of the artwork
- Assist with the preparation of viewings, sales, exhibitions, breakdowns and transport of the artwork whilst liaising with all sales coordinators
- Ensure the safety of both people and artwork always
- Complete property risk assessments and condition reports
Requirements :
- Clean and valid driver's license.
- Experience working within a gallery, museum, studio, art logistics or auction house background is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects / goods
- Demonstrate excellent client service skills with good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and organized
- Ability to operate forklifts when required
