We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients with precision and care, ensuring proper handling and labeling of specimens while maintaining the highest standards of safety and patient comfort.

📍 Location : Wilmington, DE

What You'll Do :

• Greets and identifies patients according to SOP.

Obtains billing and testing information according to SOP.

Reviews test requisition for proper test collection.

Assembles equipment necessary to collect specimen.

Collects specimens for drug testing according to SOP and order of the draw.

Match requisition to collection of tubes for completion.

Centrifuge when necessary .

Perform daily, weekly, monthly maintenance and quality control on test kits and urinalysis equipment.

Prepares and packages specimens for shipping to testing location according to SOP.

Performs customer service duties to include phone inquiries and patient encounters.

Collects patient payments according to SOP.

What We're Looking For :

Experience drawing blood from a patient who may have been a previous IV drug user

Good communication skills and works closely with remote supervisor

Attention to detail with labeling specimens

Working within electronic record systems

Staying organized
