Job description

Currently I have an opening for a Customer Service Specialist located in South San Francisco, CA.  Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

  • The Customer Service Specialist role provides the highest quality of customer support by offering full time phone coverage, managing numerous daily activities, and participating in internal and external departmental projects.
  • Act as customer advocate in investigating and responding to complaints while suggesting necessary process improvements to avoid recurrence.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of department defined quality standards and measures.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with team members as well as the supervisor regarding departmental issues.
  • Act as a liaison between customer, third party provider and GNE to facilitate customer returns.
  • Work with Finance, Product Distribution and Customers to resolve disputes.
  • HS diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with experience in customer service, inbound call management, and handling customer complaints.

Technical Information :

  • Pay : $25 hourly
  • Onsite position, M-F, 8am-4 : 30pm, flexibility for hybrid work as project progresses
  • 5-month contract with potential for extension / conversion
