Primary responsibility is to grow Ferrotecs business through product sales. Activities include maintaining relationships with assigned customers, developing new prospects within the assigned territory, and coordinating communications with internal resources to support customer needs. Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.

What Success Looks Like :

• Meets targeted revenue goals within assigned territory by growing business with existing customers and developing new prospects.
• Educates new customers about Ferrotecs technology and related products.
• Qualifies new opportunities from both technical and business perspectives.
• Writes quotes that describe the product and provides pricing / delivery information.
• Sets pricing based on customer requirements, cost data, and margin goals.
• Coordinates company interaction with the customer from order initiation through shipment and thereafter using various means of communication.
• Works with manufacturing, engineering, quality control, customer service, and planning personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicates customer feedback to the organization to identify the need for improvement of existing products or development of new items.
• Coordinates communication with the customer regarding corrective action and / or product design improvements for failed units.
• Generates accurate forecasts of product / volume mix.
• Participates in trade shows and follows up sales leads.
• Provides input to the Regional Sales Manager, Product Managers, and the Marketing Communications group to support promotional, advertising, and communication strategies.
