Junior Fraud Analyst

1) 1+ years of experience working with various tools / systems to determine root cause analysis

2) 1+ year of experience with detail-oriented research to include fraud detection analysis

3) Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience with Excel (ex : pivot tables)

• Description : *

The team is looking for someone who has experience running investigations on potential fraud incidents. Currently the team is doing enhancements on their fraud platform and need individuals to come in using the proprietary company tools and systems to research and investigate the fraud incidents that come through from their members or potential frauds.

This will be 5 days a week onsite with the team in San Antonio. They are highly collaborative and work at a fast paced. They have a lot of work they are looking to accomplish so want individuals who can work independently and take initiative.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications : *
• Complete root cause analysis and summarize findings on complex member feedback and fraud events
• Maintain and improve upon documented procedures through responding to and implementing user feedback
• Investigate fraud incidents to isolate trends and identify vulnerabilities
• Complete maintenance needs to facilitate the ability for members to authenticate and access self service solutions
• Manage assigned tasks within service level objectives

Tasks :

• Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
• Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
• Works under supervision and with some assistance, resolves issues and navigates obstacles to deliver work product.
• Documents findings of completed alerts and assists with incident documentation.
• Serves as a resource to team members on escalated issues of a routine nature.

These roles are helping provide additional support in investigating potential security threats through fraudulent incidents with their members.
