Human Resources Manager
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and oversee the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and services. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws, foster a positive workplace culture, and manage essential HR functions such as payroll, employee benefits, and recruitment. This position is based in Memphis, Tennessee, and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization. Responsibilities include managing and processing biweekly payroll, providing guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and termination procedures, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local human resources laws and regulations, reviewing and updating employee policies and procedures regularly, overseeing employee benefits programs, staying informed about updates in employment laws and adapting practices to maintain compliance, maintaining accurate employee records, leading recruitment efforts, organizing and managing onboarding programs, and acting as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work environment. Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management or a related field, proven expertise in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management, proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll platforms, strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, demonstrated ability to lead recruitment efforts, excellent organizational and communication skills, experience in fostering a collaborative workplace environment that aligns with company values, and a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
