We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Marcos, California. This role involves managing key aspects of accounts receivable, including cash applications, commercial collections, and billing functions. Responsibilities :

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle commercial collections by contacting clients to resolve overdue payments.
• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management review.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify and address potential payment delays.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and account details.
