Position Title : Senior Accountant

Location : Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Position Type : Full-Time

Compensation :

Base Salary : $90,000 - $110,000

Bonus : ~$11,000 / year (Company bonus plan in place)

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will lead core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls while supporting continuous improvements to systems and processes.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

Produce GAAP-compliant financial statements

Analyze financial data and performance trends

Enforce corporate accounting policies and internal controls

Collaborate with external auditors during audit cycles

Support budget and forecast development

Enhance and maintain accounting systems and process efficiency

Guide and support junior accounting team members

Manage and analyze standard cost accounting and variance

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

6+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public)

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficient in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail

Preferred Experience

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP
