Job Title : Process Improvement Analyst (Temporary)

Job Summary
The Process Improvement Analyst will lead the absenteeism management and process improvement workstream for US Bakeries. The role involves analyzing current processes related to absences (medical, unexcused, legal), developing and implementing improvement plans, and ensuring the company s absenteeism control strategy is effectively executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and map current absenteeism management and reporting processes, defining roles, responsibilities, and frequencies.
- Benchmark absenteeism management processes with Canadian operations as needed.
- Standardize classifications for planned / unplanned absences across North America, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities focused on unexcused absences, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and sick day procedures.
- Develop detailed flowcharts outlining processes for different types of leave.
- Lead project governance, manage change implementation, provide training, and report weekly progress.
- Establish a strong governance structure to review, control, and continuously improve project performance.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to support new processes.
- Promote a Zero Loss Mindset and continuous improvement culture across teams.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing absenteeism processes in the US, including FMLA, sick leave, STD / LTD, and workers compensation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coach and lead in a team environment.Proficiency in analytics and data management using Excel.Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.Experience working with time and attendance systems such as Kronos or Infor .Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
