JOB SUMMARY
The Bronx District Attorney's Office seeks a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds contribute to serve the 1.4 million residents of the Bronx County community and who will pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. Auto Theft Prosecutions are conducted within the Trial Division. Working in partnership with a variety of state, local, and federal agencies, ACP proactively investigates and prosecutes auto larceny rings and auto-stripping rings that steal car parts such as airbags, catalytic converters, and rims. ACP investigates and prosecutes complex frauds involving insurance fraud, internet auto schemes, tow truck and garage fraud. ACP partners with the Crime Strategies Bureau to convert actionable intelligence into pro-active investigations and prosecutions. The Trial Division is seeking an Assistant District Attorney to conduct long-term investigations, prosecutions, and trials of Auto Crimes.
